Produced in the highlands, the chestnut honey has a rather liquid consistency, the colour is amber-brown more or less dark and bright. This honey is not overly sweet with a bitter aftertaste and an intense aroma. Remains liquid for a long lime, has pale golden amber colour, an intense forest fragrance and aroma. Like all the dark honey, it’s particularly rich in mineral salts.

Properties: promotes blood circulation, antispasmodic, astringent, antiseptic urinary tract exerts a beneficial action on kidney and liver. Recommended for the elderly and children.
